Useless Bay Coffee Co.

What do you do with a Useless Bay? Make coffee, of course! Located in the scenic town of Langley, WA (on the southern tip of Whidbey Island), Useless Bay Coffee produces some of the finest coffees on the island.

Running in the Ragnar Relay Race from Blaine to Langley, I had to plan my caffeine intake so that I can swing by Useless Bay Coffee after my final run. That meant I had to run at 5:30am without coffee. Needless to say, I was grumpy. Good thing by the time I had their coffee, it made me feel all the wait was well worth it.

Send your pictures of your cafe with La Marzocco and it’ll be posted on this blog. Please email jack(at)lamarzoccousa.com.

Baca and the new GB/5 at The French Press in Santa Barbara

New GB/5 serial number 2561’s home is on the bar at The French Press in Santa Barbara, California. Since its birth in Florence, “Roberto” (GB/5 #2561) knew greatness was instore… During it’s long sea voyage Roberto wondered what its future may hold, little did it know it would be called upon to bring specialty coffee to the entire city of Santa Barbara. After arriving in America and taking many long truck trips, Roberto had his box uncovered to find himself on sunny State Street in Santa Barbara. Now he is happy and shiny, making macchiatos in the sunshine. Roberto would like to thank the fine people at La Marzocco USA, Verve Coffee Roasters, and The French Press for letting him juice the finest beans in high style!
